Eddie Jordan is accusing Ron Dennis of cutting the wires to his earpiece during an Interview with Christain Horner..

Or, as Ron will probably put it: "The copper based connector between Mr Jordans belt mounted transmitter and his biological sound collector was deemed to be interfering with the sanity of millions of BBC viewers and therefore in an act of public service I motioned towards the connector with a pair of opposable blade side snips thus freeing his aural passages from any form of remote interference.."

wow. sabotage and law suits...got to love the press! a bit of a different perspective from grandprix.com.

i must admit i didnt think of RD as a particularly funny guy but i found this a humanizing story about someone who always came across as having a very corporate type personality.

on that note, with the amount of media around and how everything is a giant fishbowl, its amazing and ironic how little we are actually shown about the players involved with F1.
certainly i need to do a better job of not jumping to conclusions about someone's personality based on the little bits the media and teams PR people show us...although that may make thinks a little more boring around here

Eddie is just playing his role in the broadcasting team. He's not afraid of making a fool out of himself, he knows what are difficult questions for team owners and he has personal experience. That is why he got hired by the BBC, to do the exact job he's doing now. I would much rather see Leggard getting the boot tbh. He offers nothing to the broadcast at all
