Sounds like the damage was quite heavy, not sure if it will be ready for qualifying..........
According to DSC the Zytek will be fine (unlike the vdS Lola!). The rear right bodywork took most of the impact. They have spare panels and are repairing the damage to the corner.

1:10.781? Jeepers! And Intersport is hot at Dyson Lola 20's heels.

AutoCon did great to be in front of both Corvettes, and glad to hear the car will thunder in next year!!!!!!!

I've been in and out of meetings all day....

I read the DSC piece last night that noted that Dyson would run the new Lola B06/10s next year....

Did I miss the item about Champion getting the R10???

What source did you read this in????

It was mentioned by Atherton that Champion would have a new car next year, then Hindy said, numerous times, that Laguna would be the last race for the R8, Champion would run the R10 next year.

This kind of announcement normally comes from Ingolstadt later in the year!!

And nothing about this from any of our usual press sources? Strange, if this was official I'm sure DSC and others would have pounced on the story. Official but embargoed perhaps!!

But very big news if Champion arrive at Sebring with a pair of R10's!

Sounds like a couple of people may have said things that perhaps they shouldn't...........

All looks very tight at the top of each class, hope the Zytek holds it togeather long enough to trouble the Audis.

Just out of interest how do this years times compare with past years?

If the R10 is going to be ready for next march, then it needs to be testing now or very soon somewhere.

Its already been testing for weeks, if not months, certainly in the case of the diesal engine.

Nothings been announced officially about the R10, but it appears Champion have been given the greenlight for the car.

I knew the diesal engine has been running for as long as 12 months on a test bed. I am suprised that no 'spy' pictures have come out of the actual car.

I recal there where plenty of rumours of the new Porsche testing before the first confirmed shots appeared.

We had the first talk with a member of the AUDI Crew in the beginning of 2004 and at this point they now the main concept of the car. At this time they had an impoortant problem: "Currently the car looks horrible. Now we must solve the problem so that we have a nice looking car!"

In Germany are currently two manufactures with LMP prototypes and exclusive contracts to teams - and Champion is not one of them ..... for now. It seems that there are some talks behind the scene about which prototype Champion get
