It seems that the fender extensions are bolted in, instead of molded in. That's my opinion.

For those who were saying "wait until we see the cars, they probably won't look nothing like current DTM's cause of new regs", well... there you have it folks, THAT thing is as DTM as it can be.

Looks like a touring car, production car compared to the GT500 prototype look/extreme GT. Oh and what a ugly rear wing. Can't believe the Japanese agreed to COMPLETELY abandon their unique and appealing GT500 style for an inferior TOURING CAR spec. What were those guys thinking?

Oh and if I understood it correctly, it will be a spec chassis and aero and no developments allowed. So what is left to like about the new series? It seems they succeed in destroying everything that was appealing about this unique series???

I hope you guys are enjoying this season because this will be the last of SuperGT.

I agree with you on the looks, the wing in particular is awful...however I think the defining thing is going to be how good the racing will be...but going from the recent DTM races ive tried to watch, it will be incredibly boring, so yeah ...at least GT300 will still be there, even if it is mostly GT3 cars now

GTA is a galapagos phobia.
GTA thinks that there is no future if SGT does not globalize.
Japanese car market cannot expect growth.
Therefore, the domestic motorsport budgets has been reduced.
If SGT becomes international series, it will be easy to acquire budgets for Japanese manufacturers.
Of course, it's shame that tech competition disappears from GT500.
But SGT has GT300. Mother chassis plan is our last hope.

Agreed, this is my opinion as well. GT500 will be dead, replaced by DTM Japan and I'm not happy about it.

Finally downloaded and watched the race, can't believe what happened on lap 70. Terrible, p1-2-3-4 all out in less than two laps, it was a lucky result for the Arta HSV-010.

Hmm that nsx doesn't look anything like one to me, I see some resemblance to the nsx photos I've seen but it feels more like a wild Honda accord gt protype to me.

I like the new car. Not as much as the current cars, but they still look cool. Its just a prototype so it should look more complete when raced. Theyll still be really fast. DTM is only about a second slower than lmp2, and thats with spec tires. SuperGT tires will add a lot of pace. The only thing I think is ugly is the rear wing

Is that the reason for the Korean exhibition race? How's that coming? I heard its suppose to be on the schedule for 2014 and maybe a exhibition with Sentul for evaluation

I've been thinking of getting into Super GT. but unforunately they don't broadcast in English. Would you know if they might have a Chinese broadcast Samurai?

TV money of J-sports is a big profit source of GTA.
Therefore, GTA is unwilling to do streaming distribution.
GTA would like to make profits with foreign broadcast rights.
However, GTA does not know the word "free trial."
It is shame that there is no foreign language commentary at all.

There is some English commentary in Star Sports Asia, but it seems that the broadcast is truncated back then in 2012.

Exactly my thoughts, and the DTM dressing doesn't help at all.
I do not understand why GTA thinks that the best way to globalize the series is to adopt the DTM form.

While it should be the exact opposite...

Same here. That New NSX GT has a similar design language as the 2013 Accord. Especially the shape of the front headlight and the rear quarter of the Accord.

I dont agree. This is still a prototype NSX. The street car isn't revealed so there will be changes. No one runs their final car in a shakedown/test. The headlights just look like a strip of led lights, nothing like the Accord.

Other people, including mine has their own opinion about the design on the NSX-GT. Yes, it's still a prototype but every car manufacturer, including Honda designs their car with a similar design philosophy to closely relate on its own image and lineup. The headlight may look like a strip of LED's but the shape will still remain albeit using a similar LED as the Audi's.

The NSX will look like an Acura with that beak on the grille being its signature sign its an Acura. As for the rest of the car I don't know, but hopefully its good looking.
