Euroc sports racers

i know the series pretty much went no where, however does any one know anything about the cars, the intntion of the series?, and if they can be worked out in FIA or somewhere else, they looked terrific, any thoughts on these? (they certainly are a better "spec" class than those daytona sports protos, prototypes are supposed to be unique and different...

The prototype cars are still up for sale - As for eligibility, they were tube framed and open but at a wild guess I'd say they're unlikely to be eligible in any SR or LMP class - sad though as you're right they did have a certain something.

They weren't supposed to be unique and different - all chassis were going to be identical.
I'd say that chassis-wise they are probably closer to V8STAR or some such "spec" tubeframer series. Open touring cars, really. No use whatsoever for prototype competition.

seem to remeber that they were either:

- a carbon central tub, safety cel ala dtm, wth tubeframe outriggers

or;

- tubeframe with bonded carbon panels

The DTM - V8 Star series took the limelight (and the possible entrants)
