No I couldn't get the Elite into the GT race. The 1958 Volpini is in the Formula Junior Chichester Cup race late on Sunday afternoon.

Looks like a Toyota Corona, drivers Andy Johnson / Robin Brundle. Only Anglebox entered was Nigel Hulme / Desire Wilson. Who were you teamed with, Zef?

I will be in the Fordwater on Saturday and as a speccy on Sunday. Weekend starts with the Brian Redman lunch Thursday so short week and then next week is of course Spa - they are starting to notice at work that September weeks are normally 3 day!

Will be there all three days parked up on the Lavant Bank.

Grandson will be there on Sunday dressed in his green jaguar overalls with a 10 Tenths badge on.

If anyone spots him say hello - it would make his day!!!

I'll be wandering around Friday & Saturday, never felt the need for a grandstand but then the sun has always shone up til now......

I'm bringing my road Mk2 Jag fresh out of the box after a long resto, picking it up on Wednesday. It was my everyday car for 5 years, God I've missed it!

Still haven't received my tickets.. Must be a postal strike thing. Does anybody know if they'll accept a receipt on the gate for entry?

I've received various marketing emails but nothing in the event that tickets haven't turned up. I'm sure there's plenty of others in the same boat.
