Naw, it stands for Le Mans Series, celebrating them winning the series title over Peugeot back in 2007.

Thats strange, a GT3 car to celebrate a Le Mans victory, minimum they should have created a GTE version, how inappropiate the R8 GT name.

Anyone heard about the rumour that Felbermayr would run PRO Corvettes in 2013? Saw it mentioned on twitter by a Brazilian Sportscar site but don't see it anywhere else.

Basically says Felbermayr will announce their 2013 plans in December, and mentions that the Corvette C6.R rumors have been denied.

Christian told me in Shanghai that they would definitely not be back in GTE Pro but were looking at a GTE-Am programme - possibly in WEC, maybe ELMS.

I heard from an employee of Flying Lizard that is way up the food chain, that they will not get factory support next year. Porsche will have a parts truck at the track but no more engineers and Lizard returned the #45 car back to the factory. I did not ask about paid drivers.
Lizard will race next year and assume in a Porsche. There was a rumor of them running an Aston but my source said he doubts they will jump ship.

DSC has just confirmed Flying Lizard to GTC next year.
