If I wanted to come check out the king of campsites TR during the race week to see what it's like is that possible?

I heard people talking about the increased security - but can't you just walk up the bank out of the spectator area to get in?

No one of the reason's I like TR is the security when you arrive they let you in but after that each time you leave you get a small card and you only get back in if you surrender that card, means that although you are right by the track the loo's and showers are just for you and no one walks through the camp site, only two gates and both have 24 hour security all of the time we are there.
There are disadvantages also, like noise of the cars and trying to get car in and out during practice/race. Can sometimes get people in but never easy
