well it seems the Panoz got up for victory..well done to brabham and magnussen ..dont know what happened to the Audi's with only 1 on the podium and the other well down..but this should help the championship run a bit more interesting

Why is the Courage C60 so slow, it has design elements from two of the gtreat sportscars of this ALMS season, the Audi and the BMW?It also has on of the best engines of the field but still it was too slow.

The car itself is ofcourse a low downforce car but so is the BMW the position of the wing is near identical.

now I know that Panoz has a better acceleration than the BMW, Audi and the Courage but the BMW was able to challenge for the lead or get near the panoz but the courage struggled to get in front of the ROC reynards. no offense but they aren't well known for their straigh line speed.

So why?

and what a good job did the riley & Scott did.

THe audi were to slow because they couldn't use the speed to their advantage and when the rain came, boy did they embarrase themselves.

both audi lost 3 places at the start andwere unable to take them back in a fight.
