And we have to remember that it's rumored that Porsche will have a heavily revised car for next year as well.

I'm not reading too much into this, but ideally one would hope that they would have a complete team by now, and that all energy and efforts would be focused on improving the car. No doubt that some staff turn-over is inevitable.

How do we know it's even turn-over...could just be growing.

Well done Porsche, and quite the lap by Marc Lieb!

To be fair, Jani's average lap time was a bit faster, but Marc did a solid job nevertheless.

The #14 car has a very balanced team. All three drivers are very, very quick.
I'm a little disappointed with the # 20. |

According to Jani, the Porsche struggles once the tires are no longer fresh (as suspected).
The Audi and Toyota fans can take some cheer. http://sportscar365.com/imsa/tusc/au...ce-soundbites/ |

Well....Another mixed bag. The car is quick and has a lot of potential, but it is still far too fragile. There is much work to do before Le Mans.

Toyota had similar issues in their first year with a fast car!
Really impressed with the overall performance of the car, especially with all the 'hype' about the issues the team had faced with personnel and the engine and whatnot. I think we're in for a great Le Mans, I expect Porsche to be right up there on pace. |

I figure that Porsche have added more pace to their game from round 1. That was always going to happen with their aero config. They had decent enough long-run pace and they will undoubtedly be rapid at Le Mans.
They are still having issues but have got cars to the finish in both rounds. If I'm honest I don't think they can get a car through 24 hours problem-free. But then again I couldn't say that about any of the P1 field. It means they are in the podium mix. They need to improve their pitstop process through practice. That's free time to be gained. |

According to speedweek.com, the #14's electrical problem was a "conservatively adjusted" crash sensor which knocked out the electric system after Dumas' incident at Blanchimont.

They were fast. Had the least wing and that worked well at Spa. Should be the same at Le Mans. Not sure how much faster theyll be on the straights if theyre even faster. Judging by the sector 2 times, downforce was not what theyre after. The biggest plus imo is theyre fuel economy.
