I did wonder after the race yesterday whether there might be an issue. That's a shame.

Looks like they need another silver driver. Or they could fall back on a bronze guy.

Sadly it is another withdrawal. DSC reports Strakka have pulled their entry, and the replacement is... Krohn Racing.

EDIT: And a giant amount of egg on face for Dome too, if the car couldn't be readied in time for LM.

It is on the team website as well, crash damage during testing at Spa, a big accident at eau rouge, driver Danny Watts is ok though.

Let's not be too hasty to blame Dome entirely for this withdrawal.

From what most of these articles are implying...a strong possibility behind this withdrawal would be that the car was a complete write-off after the Spa crash. And considering this car is relatively new, there is now no way they could have prepared a completely new car in a week (For Test Day) and in two weeks for the big race itself.

Even still, this is sad news.

Genuinely gutted for Strakka, less so for Dome to be honest. There's a lesson to be learned from Rebellion and their tentative running of the R-One at Spa.

Also means anyone who hasn't yet put in their Le Mans predictions will have a massive advantage in picking the first retirement

Strakka's statement (link above) ends with this rather strange line:
