There's something really pleasing about the fact that I don't seem to be the only enthusiast who had to tear myself away from my work PC and rush back to fire up the home machine for fear of missing the announcement.

Serious congratulations to all at Rollcentre for building this level of excitement, and thanks to all the media for keeping to the embargo and keeping us all guessing. That said, it would be nice if it was a 1900 release time...

Pescarolo Judd!

Full details on DSC, I'm sure all the details will gradually filter through.

Welcome back to the 'Top Class', Martin, and I reckon you've made a great choice of package for all the right reasons..............

So it is a Pescarolo Judd, which I think is a good choice, he will certainly be able to mix it with the big boys.

If there isn't a conflict with the LMS test at Paul Ricard...according to the DSC article.

Pesca Chassis

I'm a little confused as to the status of the current Pescarolo Chassis. I was under the impression that this owuld be the last year of eligibility under its current hybrid configuration. Am I wrong or did Pesca upgrade the car to meet with the regulations for a full P1??

Congratulations to Rollcentre, very good choice !!! Best of luck for 2007... There's loads of it left over from this year !!!

Great fun, this thread ! Thanks to all involved. I'm still ROFLing.

Martin, the rain bit gave it away... a bit... Very good hiding, though.

Henri had some new tubs made for next year with the additional roll hoop and other safety features required.

Good question, Fogelhund.

The new one? The 5.0?

I'm assuming one of the two...IIRC, Henri will be running the 5.5 L...correct???

I have to say that sat in the bar of the hotel at Le Mans last night, checking out the threads on this forum (courtesy of hgb, thanks mate!) I had a right old chuckle! It was very entertaining!

Sorry to have kept you waiting so long, but we didnt get back till 4, and have had children/workers/business/sponsors/stuff to attend to.

And congrats to bentley03, spot on, particularly the flight details! You know my Stansted haunt well!

My first press release was on DSC. If you havent subscribed to DSC yet, please do so. Malcolm is the best, most unpolitical, least self interest seeking , most enthusiastic race supporter and driver/team helper where he can in the journo world, ably backed up by his crew of journos (except graham (!) ) and photogs Lordy and all the other fantastic contributors. If you want to know whats going on, go to DSC, I pay £30 for it, I hope you can too, its the sportscar industry bible, please help keep these guys in business.

I have posted up the info on other web sites now as well, but Malc got it first.

Its been a great couple of days.
