Just saw a couple of McLaren people walking with a banner with a racecar on it, with on the windscreen banner McLaren GTE.

I had completely forgotten about SARD to! Great to hear they're still on track.
I guess Toyota would have been the obvious choice if their V8 hadn't shown to be uncompetitive. Maybe some version of the Super GT engine if Toyota want to sell them one?

I guess the amputee G56 for 2016 is no longer news, but I was curious how he controls the wheel. Autosport has this pic (probably VdeV car). How can he do that with one hand strength-wise?

Would SARD be able to pay TMG to run one of their TS050s'? That way we get a three car assault from Toyota, TMG gets a slightly bigger budget to make 3 cars and SARD gets to compete in LMP1.

This has been up for discussion before and I think consensus was that it's highly unlikely. The hybrids are to complicated and expensive to be run by privateers.

Who knows though, as a semi-works team with a big tech support from Toyota..

the Ford GT GTE car looks way more radical than current GT cars. Is that because of the future rule changes that are supposed to make the GTE cars quicker, or just Ford have found something in the rules that the others haven't yet.
