Can the Mods Post Summaries of the "Picks"????

Thanks, for closing the threads, Ayse....once competition begins, people would have an advantage....

But could one of the mods go in and do the complilation of the "Pole Picks" the way that Paul-Collins had done earlier in the thread, so that tomorrow night, we can look at a similar grid and know who won, and congratulate them on Friday???

After all, the 10-10ths Crew toasts the "winner" of the Pole competition at noon on Saturday..according to Fab...(at least he told me that two years ago when I won it)

I made sure I was up at 5 a.m. in my time zone to pop a cork and toast...exactly at noon at Le Mans...

Felt pretty good...even at 5 a.m....to know that I had come so close (.007 of a second) to the actual time...and to celebrate in spirit with my 10-10ths colleagues...

even though I was thousands of miles away

and I would want the winner this year to at least have the chance to enjoy the same opportunity for such a prediction for the biggest sportscar race on the planet Earth....

Hope this can be accommodated...because we're all here for the same reason...

our love of sportscar endurance racing, and our special love for this big event...

If others want to read this, fine...if you don't want a bunch of comments, you can close it or merge it if you wish...

Just didn't want this to get lost in the shuffle of a long thread...

BTW....My "Pole Pick" was .010 from what the Pesca 16 ran on Test Day...

Fab said I won't get an "Honorable Mention" for this...becuase we know it'll probably be faster....

But I'd rather be "Lucky" than "Smart".....

When you do that toast, at least have a good laugh for my "almost" prediction as you finish off your glass of the good stuff at Noon on Saturday..

If you promise to do so, I'll make it a point to do the same...in spirit, of course, from the heartland of the USA...

Thanks!

Tim
