Whoops! I wish they were running the hsv still.

The track was dry in q1 then rain started in q2. I think it stopped and they took advantageof a drying track.

#17 took a gamble by being the only car staying with slick tyres. All the other cars pit in for intermediates. If it was not for the last 30s of Q2 (the rain stopped 5min before the end), they would have lost everything, but it paid off.

1) I think they should return to Sepang. Don't know if Johor Circuit would attract crowds.
2) How about a street race held at SM Mall of Asia Complex. It has a nice view there.

More rain, second safety car. Don't think the SC will be pulled in before the race ends, especially as the rain is approaching race-stopping levels again.

Balancing between SRO GT3 cars and homegrown GT300 cars might be a challenge next year with the rollout of Toyota GT86 GT300 car developed by Dome, but I hope it'll succeed.

If they have to have GT3s, why cannot they at least run them separately from real GT300s. Less BoP hazzle and the cars already look different to be in the same class.

It's secondary category anyway so it's not like we're discussing DP-P2 dilemmas here. There is nothing encouraging for you to build GT300 car when you can just rent ride GT3

The mother chassis is comparable in price to a gt3. There should be no reason you have to run gt3.

According to Autosport web,
GTA strengthens cooperation with SRO about GT3-BoP.
GTA is taking with SRO so that "SGT-BoP" may be prepared.
GTA wants to be an organizer of the GT3 World Cup.
About GT300, GTA do not plan to concede about tire competition.

Hmm, GT300 cars competing against national GT3 cars in a World Cup race? It might work but some of the hybrid GT300 cars might get slowed down, making it uncompetitive.
