He was already on the brakes champ. The Braking point is right at the crest. Westbrook made an intentional move to the inside off his line. He also had another earlier.

Yep, correct to penalise the 90 for a deliberate swerve into a car that probably would've passed him if he didn't punt him off the road.

P2s are going to handle better, Westy knew that, he probably wanted to kill his momentum so he'd get a better drive up the hill but took this far too far in his efforts to do so.

I can say that with a little more vigor now. The Risi Ferrari jumped both Vettes and the Porsche in the pits. Is probably on a 1 stopper too so good chance to get around both BMW's. Risi victory would be out of nowhere.

Really? For all that posturing neither #1 or #42 looked even close to making a pass on a DP.

Of course, this is the perfect time for someone to make the short-sighted "Look, the P2s would be fine if they didn't take themselves out" argument.
