As for the racing, well for the fourth race in a row I think Schumacher can see himself as unlucky. Despite only having one run and not being able to go out again to make himself safe, he was only 0.052 seconds behind Lewis in that first session.

Anyone want to bet on how many cars he'll pass on the first lap?

It might also be timely to acknowledge the excellent effort of Daniel Ricciardo in his Top Ten qualifying for the race.

It's a stand-out effort no matter what way you want to slice it, and he clearly has the edge over Vergne in most areas thus far this season.

I agree! Ricciardo has really shown himself to be something quite special this season. Webber's replacement at the end of the year maybe?

I have thought that Vergne has looked good for a rookie too but may need another year or two before he can make that step up.

Whilst I find the tyre thing frustrating and a bit pointless, nonetheless it is throwing up some interesting situations. Can we believe that now Vettel has adopted the revised set up he will be the dominant force for the rest of the season, or is this just a small blip on the McLaren horizon?

Temperatures are the key factor I think. I have a feeling the Bull will still find it difficult when the ambient is cooler...

They appear to be fine here but we'll have to see how they get on back in a colder environment.

Grosjean and Disco Dan are showing plenty of real pace. Hopefully they both get a good opportunity to get a solid points haul.

He is even more unlucky now as he has gone for gearbox change and starting at 22, you may as well get all the bad luck out of the way in one race.

Thing is with Force India, if they felt so strongly they should not have turned up. Would have got oodles of respect.

i wouldn't know, i've been forced to listen to james allen on radio 5 live and frankly i have no idea what's happening. but at least we know the palm trees are blowing in the wind....
