DNQ should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Identification of Video???

http://tbk.fameflame.dk/videos/Misce...s/crash600.mpg

(1 Megabyte, MPEG - from tbk.fameflame.dk)

Basically who/where/when/what/why? The video is just too short for me to be certain over where it is.

Obviously that's a Bensen and Hedges BMW, same livery as those raced by Longhurst/Morris/Jones/Hulme and others in the ATCC during the very late 80's until about 1993 - and the car behind has a similar paint scheme to a Nissan Skyline from the 1992 ATCC....

But what track is it then, if indeed it is the 1992 ATCC?

The only track it looks a bit like in Australia is perhaps Amaroo Park...but then again, I don't remember the last corner looking anything like that (I presume it is the last corner, look at the grid slots).

Anyway, I'd like any information you may have,

Cheers,

Scott

Re: Identification of Video???

Hmmm....went to edit first post and 100% stuffed up by quoting myself instead...anyway, I meant to say, if it's not the 1992 ATCC, perhaps it's the ASTC from 1994, or from the 2-litre class in 93?

That is Longhurst having a huge crash at the Wellington 500 in 1992. His head actually hit the wall in the accident. He said after it he was glad the he chose to where a full face helmet that day. Hope that helps
