I'm sure that Max is giving it some thought.

Testure should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The cars look so curvy and strange these days. I think that last years Renault was the first in the current pattern of barely having a single straight line on the entire chassis. They look amazing, but, to me, they just don't look like racing cars. They look so sculpted, like they belong in a studio or something

I like racing cars to look ... agressive, I think. For looks, Champ Cars are my favourite machines. It's the width, the tyres, the lack of bits 'n bobbins sprouting from everywhere. Not dissimilar from late-80's / early 90's F1 machines. They're sorta meaty and angry looking

I find the flowing, sculpting approaches pure class; but, I also like the kind of designs you describe too. I like most designs, for their different attributes. All swisngs and roundabouts, in the end.

Of course, when it comes down to it, it is how quickly they go that it is all about.

I doubt the fact that Michelin has never made a slick would hinder them in making one.

I must have imagined the tyres McLaren used to win the 1984 championship.

F1 machines are designed by aero-techno wizards within the confines of artificially contrived rules, not Zagato or Pininfarina. Their beauty lies in their function not quite in their form. Pleasing to the eye isn't the objective.
