From what I hear I dont think Wimmer has a budget yet for HYL. That would be a pity when he took their first ever race win this year, and did very well at Bathurst and Sandown in the main series.

our team is seeking expressions of interest for the 2005 v8 supercar development series. We require a skilled and dedicated driver with a budget to complement our 2005 campaign.

There are a heap of teams looking for the same thing next year still, all a driver with a budget. The sad thing these drives start at a 1/4 of a mill and go up from there.

Panzer there was talk of HRT running a Junior car as well and with Holden support Kurt would have been the likely driver there. Apparently the idea has been dropped or is very likely to be.
