Robert Ryan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Did the V8Stockcars die?

They were supposed to be at Calder on the 17th, but not even listed. Shame as they would have been the best catergory in the AMRS.

G'day Robert,

No, they're not dead. And whilst the AMRS kicks off in a week at Calder (18-19 March), the Stockcars were never down to be at that meeting.

The first Stockcar Australia round is at Wakefield Park 22-23 April. The category also has a new website: http://stockcar.amrs.net.au

If you're looking for a quick reference of which AMRS categories are running at which round, visit the AMRS site: http://www.amrs.net.au and then click on the "Results" button on the left.

Sam,
I was looking at that site..they had

on the site. If they get a reasonable number of cars on the rescheduled Wakefield Park round I will be happy.

G'day Robert,

I found the section you are referring to, and it's a news item that dates back to September 05. It is actually the initial announcement of the AMRS Calendar as a whole, before the category calendars had been finalised.

The calendar for the Stockcar category hasn't changed. The April Wakefield Park round has been Round One for the Stockcars since their calendar was announced in October 05.

I'm going to remove the overall AMRS Calendar announcement from the Stockcar page, as I see how it can be confusing.
