It would appear that U.S.Customs officials at the port of Le Havre have scuppered WR's hopes of racing at Sebring. They held the container which the car was in and it missed the boat!

I must admit to not being one of WR's biggest fans, but I do feel very sorry for the team. Sebring was a big adventure for them, they must be bitterly disappointed.

Wasnt it Barron Conner a couple of years ago that didnt get their rear wings because of american customs ? When was the last an american team didnt get their car or bits for Le Mans . The customs should brush up their act imo .

awegrzyn has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
What happened to the grid and where is the Zytek (probably the best car of last year).

Don't think anything's happened to the grid since the entry list was first announced a couple of weeks ago, apart from WR getting stuck in customs at Le Havre.

Zytek currently don't have a car- the old one's been sold to Japan, the new one isn't built yet....

KA, let me tell you something. In the 90 I had contracts with Costa Rica and I was sending cars there. About 20 cars a month. There is no such thing as "getting stuck in customs". You have to be a man to admit the truth. It pays to be a man sometimes too.

Oh yes there is....I used to be an international specialist for FedEx. Trust me, you can have things stuck in customs.

On top of that a team that "gets stuck in customs" does not deserve to race in the first place. Micky Mouse show.

911GT3RS, with all do respect your job title sounds very cool.

With all due respect, stating that a team who unfortunately gets stuck in customs at an international port doesn't deserve to race is simply assinine.

I'm really looking forward to Sebring though with the renewed Aston - Vette battle with Konrad in the mix, Dyson vs Audi again with brand new cars, 2 LMP1 teams with Dysons infamous ex Lolas, Penske and their 2 spectacular RS Spyders along with 5 other strong LMP2 teams, the debut of a bio-diesel powered LMP1 (pending recent rumors about withdrawing from sebring and attending the LMS test days) and last but not least, the ultra competetive GT2 class. It should be a real treat and an excellent way to start off the ALMS season.

I'm sure you thoroughly thought this through before posting, so please elaborate. I'd be fascinated to find out the reasoning behind the opinions you've expressed.
