"Life and Times" Video: Villeneuves

A friend has just sent me a video taped from a Canadian television program called "Life and Times" which, in celebration of Jacques' 1997 WDC, was made as a dual homage to father and son. It is a marvelous, absorbing video with footage of Jacques as a child and candid interviews with Joann and Melanie as well as with Jacques. It is the ONLY time I have ever heard Jacques speak of his father in a reflective and thoughtful way and of his memories of those days. And it's very obvious that his mother didn't want him to race and they said she had never been to any of his races.

Oddly it completely avoids mentioning Craig Pollock, and I was disappointed they didn't show any of Jacques' win (including the famous Schumacher Dive). But if you get a chance to see this wonderful program, don't miss it.
