To be fair, running the tests is easy to believe. All they have said is they will evaluate it.

There will always be a reason for Falken not to go. But they should. Regardless of the result it will be huge for the whole team in terms of development.
If the WEC programme doesn't get re-upped - the Porsche presence at Le Mans in GT could be all American. |

There will be GT Porsche's in the WEC next year. Theyve hid things well, considering no one knew if Falken would be able to get a car yet they were testing one. We'll hopefully see American makes/teams perform better next year at LeMans. Hopefully they wont be cut down in the tusc either so they can perform at their optimum through the big race and not just in America.

Project Libra planned to race at the 2013 Petit LeMans :S Maybe that says enough already for 2014. Ofcourse it will be good, and I hope, that they will be on the grid in 2014. |

Marshall Pruett has an update of the testing entry lists on Racer but Imsa.com has no links to the actual lists on their official web site, which so far is disappointing.

I expect this years testing entry to be terrible because no one is prepared. One example of each new spec car is about all we can really hope for.

OAK will look to enter the first two rounds with 1-2 cars and also be at the test.

Oak, Peacom, Graves, and ADR Delta. That's most of the LMP2 WEC grid right there that wants to run the Daytona 24. I do recall back in the 90's that Daytona was a huge draw to privateer Euro teams. Looks like that again
I'm surprised the car cap limit has not dampened their enthusiasm. I certainly see someone being left off the entry list though unless these teams align themselves with a team running full time. Such as the alliance between ADR Delta and Action Express. |
