shame for BMR Restart, conditions didn't suit them as didn't really the Civic Tourer

nice drive by Jordan and Collard and also finally a decent result for GIO 7th, reversed grid maybe come in his favor

What do we make of the end of race 3? I know the forum loves to bash Shedden's overtaking skills (or lack thereof), but I think Turks had it coming this time after shoving Shedden onto the grass earlier that lap...

I am an eBay Motors fan but I entirely agree with the above.

As much as I am a WSR supporter and not keen on Shedden I expect the results to stand - Colin tried his best but Shedden had more left in his the car. If Colin had of made the corner without going off then it would be different - but in this case I think the result is fair.

It's good to see a more robust Colin though since he came back to the championship.

and we all remember Colin did a similar move on Giovanardi back in 2006 only there it was more controversial cos Gio did make the corner while Turks cut chicane to win but result still standed

They would have only have revised the result if another certain driver was involved.

two certain drivers you mean, still Giovanardi did get punished, 30 seconds added to his time for two issues, that under safety car tangle with someone and track limits,

the simple fact is Shedden was already ahead before the corner and he couldn't enter the corner because Turks overbraked himself and short cut himself

no matter how you take it it was hard but fair

EDIT the apeal was rejected, Shedden keeps the win

Not many planes and they are only around for a few seconds at a time.

I couldn't hear the cars over the bird 'song'. Unusual.

Must have been down to the weather conditions.

Yup, the wind was blowing very hard from the Old Hairpin across to the Exhibition Centre (aka away from the village).

You could have kept the rain though. That was just mean!

Yeah although I'm generally a fan of Turks, he is hypocritical given that move on Gio on '06 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V09u0IFNFos

I think the racing between the two was hard, but fair. Colin could have done no more. Unfortunately I didn't hear any interviews, volume was low due to family round. While we on this subject, what about Plato's punt on Jordan at the first corner.

Slightly different as Turks had got up the inside of Gio in 06.

I don't think there was anything unfair about Shedden's move yesterday, but it proved one more he is unable to overtake Turkington without any contact. A shame 'cos it was a storming drive otherwise, I love the way Gordon always seems to be on the absolute edge of the grip he has available to him.

I think Jordan actually lost it on cold tyres, that's what it looked like on TV. I think you always get slight nudges with the pack so close and cold weather will amplify the effects but I don't believe there was one in this case.

That's what I thought. Plato seems a different animal to the JP of five years ago.

Actually, it's the first time for a while I've seen him happy with the car this early in the season and driving to bank points... rather than desperately hanging on to position - or making wild gambles (with tyres etc) that fail spectacularly.

wonder who will get extra boost now after 2 rounds

high boost I expect the likes of Welch, Moffat, BTC Racing, Rotek , Autosport (wonder what will they do about the wrecked Avensis) and to lesser degree AMD, Motorbase, RAR
