Good Lord, was Indy in charge of penalties on that last incident? Ridiculous they hit that Lambo who got hit twice by De Phillipi and Jaminet caused the whole thing anyway. But guess Long Beach means oh well, it's the hairpin.

At least De Phillipi got his just desserts later trying to destroy all the extra fronts. And the team didn't check it enough cause something was definitely broken. But proved why LB is only worth watching recorded to skip commercials and track facts nonsense, plus the cleanups

Race at Laguna this weekend will be the first one on the newly repaved circuit for IMSA. Looking for some possible record laptimes for the classes depending on weather.

Packing up and heading out to Laguna tomorrow. All weather forecasts I’ve seen have been beautiful. But yeah, can’t really predict the fog, although historically it’s becoming less frequent every year.

Some news before the race. Same as for Spa, BOP changes are very small.

***The Acura ARX-06 is the only GTP car, meanwhile, to have been given a power increase since Long Beach, with the ORECA-chassied LMDh car getting a 5 kW (6.7 horsepower) boost, while the Cadillac V-Series.R (-5 kW/6.7 hp), BMW M Hybrid V8 (-4 kW/5.3 hp), and Porsche 963 (-2 kW/2.6 hp) have all slightly lost power.
***Only the Cadillac (-6 kg) and Porsche (-7 kg) have had weight adjustments since last month’s street race, meanwhile.

So Acura still the heaviest but also the most powerful. But compared to 2023 it's quite a difference, here's last year for reference:

IMO, lap times at Laguna Seca depend on how much of the dust bowl has been blown/carried onto the track.
