Then Ralph Firman and not Roman Rusinov will be the coequipier of Juan Cruz Álvarez at Gabord.
About the team, I'm unsure of this: the cooperation with Reyco (the structure of Argentinian Reynaldo Cozzani that supports Juan Cruz Álvarez) is only with the car of the Argentinian or the whole team must be called "Gabord Reyco"?

Marc Hynes was the tester of the car alongside Zonta in the inaugural 2002 season. So he knows the car and could be one step ahead the other newcomers.
With Firman that is 20 entries confirmed for Jarama this Sunday. Great!!

I contacted Marc yesterday and he says they are still working on the deal - it isn't over just yet...

Is there any UK (and, hence, Irish) TV coverage of the series this year? Brit Eurosport? Motors TV? Really enjoyed watching when I've had the chance...

No, that's the problem. Terrible TV coverage. You can read about it in next weeks Autosport though

I know that Don Panaz funded Firmans F1 drive with Jordan. He can't be so silly to fund another season for a very over rated driver..... last in both sessions......the doors open Ralph please shut it on the way out....

Why don't you post about something you actually know about?

Ralph's deal happened very late.

No testing.

Lots of mechanical problems.

He'll win races this year.

He's hardly "over-rated" - everyone like you thinks he's rubbish.

Rubbish drivers don't win F3 and F Nippon titles.

That's the problem with this series, no good TV coverage. By the time we can see it on Motors TV, we would all have commentated the socks off of it and read every detail on Autosport. It's a pity and I am sure that it will never grow if the organizers don't get their act together.

Oh well. I now have a clash of the Renault V6 (Eursport) AND the World Series (Spanish TV) at the same time to watch on TV. I wish that they also would get a little organized seeing that Renault owns Nissan. But you would never know it, would you.

Lets hope Renault scrap the Dallara Nissan World Series when GP2 replaces F3000.

That should make things a bit stronger.

Well, it seems that RPM will be taking over the Renault V6 and some other Renault series from next year on. But if that happens, they will only make a mess out of it. OK, it will make the WS dissapear, which will allow things to be a bit stonger, but it will give the management to people that can't really run things properly. I really wonder what will happen.

What a shame Hynes hasn't appeared yet. Hopefully next time he will. I was really looking forward to seing (or rather, reading about) Marc relaunching his career. Everything he's showed in the past marked him out as a big talent.

It's great to hear your views on this subject.

Did you see the (nonsense) article in Autosport this week, basically saying RPM/Dallara Nissan is the greatest and slagging off F3000.

Kicking-back,

This website is all about opinion so that is mine. He in my mind is very over rated. He comes from a crop of drivers who had an open cheque book and should be better than he is.

The people with the talent who have done well with zero money need the chances that he is getting and that includes Ex F3 Champ - Marc Hynes
