Redracer77 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Pi

I have been trying to get my new laptop to work with my Pi. Software loads on okay but I cant get the USB to see the loggers for both my Pi and AIM dashs? Does anyone know if Microsoft Vista can be used with Pi and AIM?

I would have thought that only Pi or AIM would be able to tell you that, but I'd say the evidence points to a problem with Vista...

Stick XP on it - you're better off with that for the moment.

Which Pi logger/software combination are you trying?

Vista is just a pain. My Pi software works fine though but I've not tried with the USB yet

Pi and Vista

Have been advised by Pi personnel not to use their products with Vista until 2008...

youngoldy has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Microsoft, being the silly yankies they are, have basically re-written there software codes. My boss at work got Vista for his laptop, and couln't install the printer, as the driver was only made for XP or earlier.

Pi will have to update their drivers so that laptops/computers can run on Vista, whilst still running the Pi software.

I believe for system 2, you use the 'Pi Club Expert Analysis' software. I have had very little time using system 2, I am more clued up on the XSport and Delta Clubman loggers.

For that data system, you use the Logger Management Software, which is used for downloading the data and setting up the logger, whilst using the Analysis software to analyse the data.

Another thing, has anyone using the system 2 managed to record any data yet? We, using the Xsport, got data straight of perfectly. We seem to be getting data.
