yeah, the dorr mclaren improved a lot from the two last experiences (If am I not wrong, last year the engine said farewell already during formation lap). Surely this year has the performance, but I don't think the car will last 24 hours.

It died on lap 1 at the Flugplatz, so not far off. The 12C GT3 has been getting better and better at the endurance game though, it can go at least 12 hours without issues (see the car that finished very well at Bathurst), but 24 hours... let's wait and see.

It won the Barcelona 24hours in 2012 iirc, can't be all bad....there's works support behind the Dorr cars, I doubt they'll have the problems they've had in the past.

Satorian has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
At least the Aston made it into Top-30 qualifying today. That's going to be very, very interesting to watch. I expect the McLaren to top the list for tomorrow, followed by a mix of Audis and BMWs.

The Nissan's pace has been promising. Hope they have a good showing this year.

Not that I've heard. I guess the #1 Black Falcon will be among the top contenders shooting for pole position, but I'm not sure the other cars are staffed well enough to put them on the top. I do expect the Mercs to have a strong showing over the full distance though. Wouldn't be surprised if there were 2 or 3 SLS in the Top-5 at the end of the race. The #1, the HTP and both ROWE will be thereabouts, but they just don't seem as "in full force" as Audi and BMW seem to be.

agree, the SLS is the ultimate endurance car! maybe you can't expect to fight for the pole with that car because bop make it too heavy, but for sure you can run smoothly for over 30 hours with that german tank! as shown during nurburgring, dubai and spa 24 hours the true power of the car is the full disance reliability

We will see on McLaren reliability...looks like the rainmeister Maxime Martin will be starting in the #25 in 2nd and I bet he will want to win badly this year after just coming short last year. Cant wait!!!

Estre has been impressively quick in it in prior VLN rounds this year. It'd be a tall order to keep P1 until the chequered flag though. I just can't imagine them lasting.
