The cars from left to right are Patrick Watts' Bloom Signs 1275GT (you may have heard of Patrick!); John Barnard's Mini 7 (John, from Bath, was a promising Mini 7 driver in the late '70s/early '80s but dropped out when he got married - anyone know where he is now?)and Hugh Ward's "Tar Baby" Miglia (the car was shared between brothers Clyde and Hugh Ward from Sidcup - Hugh returned to the Miglias a couple of years ago). The surplus driver sitting on the bonnet of the 7 was track testing the three cars for "Triple C" at the end of the 1980 season - I think when Steve first unearthed the photo the consensus was that it was Richard Longman.

It was interesting to see the 'old' Brands straight as well. The Grovewood Suite (the wooden building) still there, the old pit garages and of course, no Foulston Centre in the background.
