I wonder how many times we see a blocked track we get this weekend (I thinking of the hairpin at the end of this street course)

Well, we don't normally get track blockage there anymore. The old guys have done it before in CART/Champ and the new ones have played it on Need for Speed or one-a-them XBox thingies . There is in fact quite a bit of space drivers left, and a cut in the barrier there, so the Safety Team can drag cars out of the line of fire if they need to. Might be interesting for the double-file restarts, though, as they usually ask them to form up right after the hairpin, and they start shifting around at T10.

Now the fountain is a whole nother issue. We don't get to use the crane nearly as often as we'd like!

Waving to you all from T12 this weekend,
keke

Hoping not, like Keke. I will be somewhat hoarse if we do as am the course observer/communicator there. Also somewhat concerned about side by side restarts, but the hierarchy are talking about that at this minute.

Is there an entry list yet? It looks like there will be 27 entrants, doesn't it? Would that mean one entry will have to go home after qualifying? I feel IndyCar should not send anybody home unless there were an issue with space in the pitlane. In Long Beach, the pitlane is rather long.

They've started 30 cars before at Long Beach. No reason why that should have changed.

I understand limiting the grid to 26 cars for fly away races as that is what will fit on the plane. To turn away cars from a North American race is ridiculous IMO with sponsorship as tough to come by as it is.

They figured out how stupid that idea was and dropped it.

Is that you, Michael?

Well, I was thinking of Power, Wilson, or Hunter-Reay for pole, and they all made the Fast Six anyway.

Will Power proves time and time again that he is quick on the road/street courses in q'ing. Impressive. How poles in the last 2 years on twisty tracks does he have? At least 75%?

Come on, RHR. Bring it home for us! Should be a good one.
