Gonna be at the EuroSpeedway?

Looks like a bit of a heartless place from what I've seen on TV, pretty much what I would regard as the complete opposite of Brands, but anyone gonna be there?

I think Brazil will be strong. Maybe Jos Verstappen could do a good job, if he would improve his qualifying pace. During the last DTM-weekend at Eurospeedway, Verstappen was really fast during a demonstration in a 2004 Opel DTM-car, even faster than some drivers in the 2005 Opel DTM-car. So, that looks very promising.

Who ever thinks of going: it is boring, flat, no character what so ever, in the middle of nowhere. It takes ages to get there, either via Berlin or Chemnitz.
It is the track I really hate going to every year.

Depending on what layout they use the racing is not going to be the best. But then again, you never know.

Oh, did I mention it is boring, flat......

I think it's the same circuit layout as is used for the DTM

It's a real shame after the awesome Brands GP circuit that the series is going to a dull oval infield track. I'd much rather see it at Nurburgring, Sachsenring, Hockenheim or even Oschersleben.

Unless the weather changes a lot until Estoril's race, you can count with hot weather. We're almost in October and in Lisbon the temprature for today is 32 degrees and has been like this all September.... so yeah, Estoril is nice not only for a race but for some good time in the beach.

There will be other points of interest at Lausitz, like Ralph Firman driving for Ireland, presumably Team Germany going better on home soil and maybe some other driver changes.

I really fancied Estoril - especially with the €20 weekend general admission tickets

However the £200 return flights from the UK kinda spoilt the value for money

Now, that would be a real track for the A1. Much like Oulton or Brands.
But they are only allowed to stage 3 race weekends a year.

Sometimes overtaking at the Lausitz can be neigh on impossible unless you're about a second a lap faster. But the veiw form the top teir of the grandstand is awesome, it is almost like karting where you can watch the cars do a complete lap, and not just a couple of glimpses each lap.
