Spanish F3 isn't upto the quality of Britian, France, Germany, or Japan.
The driving quality just isn't there. Most talented youngsters go abroad or go straight from FFord up to Formula Nissan 2000 (formerly Open Fontura).

I would not say that, more people watch the Spanish F3 championship than here in Britian. Its just a different type of racing, like the Australian F3 championship, both have more support and more overtaking.

Spanish F3 is different, it a spec. series where they run Dallara 399s with 300 aero kits and spec. Toyota engines.
A full year is about £100,000 for a top drive, much less can be possible.....

Francisca, as a veteran of F3 ... try not to forget the "Ramone" name ... you will have plenty to talk about this kid in the coming years !!!

All right NME... Alvaro Parente is only 17 and he won the second race of the season. He's third now in the spanish championship. Another very promising young driver seems to be Andy Soucek, from Spain, which is very young (15 or 16 ?) and very quick in qualyfyings.

In that series you all should watch out another young Portuguese pilote(20)Filipe Figueiredo e Silva . This year is not going so well but last year he won every race of BMW junior Cup, and i mean ALL races(okay except one) including the 2 half final and final. That´s is he´s first year in F3. He´s good.

Morcilman should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The Spanish F-3 series is a very competitive championship. They have Giebler that is a top driver, Laserre that is french Formula reanult Champ, Parente that is european Karting Champ, Costa that is Campus champ and french F-3 vice champ, Silva that is a top world karter and BMw Champ... In My opinion that is a strong field, and with the F-1 deal for the champ they are in the right place to sucess.
The teams are strong, Racing engineering is doing Super Nissan as well and winning (that is against the best european teams, Azteca Motorsport is a top Spanish team, EVR is the works telefonica team G tec is the ericson team from Nissan, Meycom is the Repsol team in Nissan and Supper nissan...

I think that something bigb is happening in Sapnish F-3 and people will know very soon. That is the way to go and is a top european championship.
