Kebab has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Ah, I didn't know that. So can someone tell me who the other non-brit favourites are for WSR in 2006?

I also rate Christian Montanari and Bruce Jouanny of the other confirmed non-Brits.

According Racing1.de Saulnier Racing will run the Swiss Spirit Courage in LMS and Le Mans. So that's maybe the reason they leave WSR.

Is Fernando Rees confirmed anywhere?
I ve got a hunch that he will be one of the main title contenders (with a decent team only , of course)

Just checked out the official WSR website, the last update was yesterday and it said only 17 of the 30 seats had been confirmed, is this correct, i was sure more of the seats had been filled than this, hope for Eric yet.

So we have at most eleven seats still available, its getting interesting now isn`t it, i still think there will be a shoot out for some of the seats in the coming tests though, or should i say hope there will be a shoot out.

The last I heard about Eurointernational was Juan Cruz Alvarez and Lin Po Heng (or Po Heng Lin?) being linked to the team by italiaracing.net (2nd March). The latter driver has tested for them in the off-season, along with Fabio Carbone.

And the same "line-up so far" on that site listed Hayanari Shimoda as a likely teammate for Parente at Victory. That would seem likely, as Victory is now run by Carlin, who have worked with Shimoda in A1GP Team Japan.

cds_uk, you may have already heard but italiaracing.net are today saying Salignon will be racing for Interwetten, taking the place of Iaconelli who had been confirmed alongside Soucek.

Also, negotiations between Alvarez and Eurointernational apparently came to nothing.

Just reading italiaracing.net, not sure about the translation but it sounds like Salignon has got mercedes backing, can anyone confirm this, good for him if he has.

Yes, I believe it says that he as a deal to participate in the Barcelona test with the team and it is likely, thanks to support from Mercedes, that he will do the entire season with them.

Perfect understanding of Italiaracing cds, altought today there is not a confirmation on the final list, where eurointernational announce Tor Graves and Pascal Kochem for the season only the second Victory car is vacant (officially).

He did Euro 3000 in 2004 (0 points - and took out GP Racing teammate and title contender Fabrizio del Monte in final round!) and the 3000 Pro Series last year (with JVA), where to his credit he finished 5th with some good results, though fields were pretty weak.

Anyone know the places (websites) where I can get the times, etc. from testing? Does testing start tomorrow or Thurs?
