It's cheaper to do Asia than USA/Europe I presume.

Better deal offered no doubt? I think this is a bigger event local media wise than the UK/German/USA series.German series was dropped from last weekends Hockenheim DTM package in favour of the Mini Challenge!

So maybe they should scrap the FBMW Germany and USA series and just have all of them race in Asia. No need for 4 series.

FBMW is also where Formula Renault 2.0 is not or with poor championships THat is probably the reason why there is no Championships in France or in Italy , countries where FR2.0 is quite successfull To Finish Asian FBMW is a good "first step" for young drivers but if they want to have a professional career , they will have definitly have to move to Europeans championship |

I do not think you can do 2 years in British F3 with ADR and not pretending having any cash...i do not think even he had the A1GP drive for free , but maybe somebody more informed than me could comfirm that...
and What about Michael Patrizi then... http://www.afos.com/news_full_renault.php?id=1731 |

yeah, the more i think of karl reindler the more i think that he does have the $$$ - cause if he was any good he would have been quick in the A1 gp car
saying that, i hope he does well as for patrizi, he was on some scholarship i think, so reckon he could have a bit of talent... he will be doing well though if he is as good as mark webber or will power... |

Actually Jazeman Jafaar could make it to F1... some day
I saw him performing for his first Asian FR 2.0 season last year and he was quite consistent for a 13 years old kid. He was a bit behind the more experienced Saarinen and Imperatori but appeared really fast and mature for his age. Luckily for him he seems as well nicely supported and I guess his actual FBMW sponsor (air asia) has something to do with the simulator test he had a few weeks ago with Williams F1. On top of that the Sepang circuit made him ambasssador of the track (at 14!!! ok maybe not so much drivers to choose from but anyway...) so if that's not a golden path to F1 I don't know what it is... if he doesn't burn his wings in Europe he should be able to make it... |

I'm so deluded - Camilo EchevarrÃ*a should have raced at one of the Meritus cars, but due to the fall of the backing of the government of Neuquén, now very involved on political problems, Meritus had to turn off EchevarrÃ*a's drive.
Another Argentinian with budget problems. |

FRD made Asian FR 2.0 season the brighter championship in Asia. Formula BMW is very involved only in Malaysia.

Jaafar certainly looks promising. Is there any plan for him to race in Europe?
