Top Junior Drivers of the Moment
If you could create a top 5 of the current drivers in all British junior series (i.e. FF, F3, FR) who would you pick?

Well I'll admit that i'm a Pat Long fan so he's in my list.
Robert dahlgren is also a very promising driver although i'm not his biggest fan. Alan van der Merwe drove brilliantly at the Formula Ford Festival although Long really out performed everyone that day with some great driving (controversial too!!!) Carl Breeze looks to have promise as does Richard Antunucci. So there you go, although I've probably missed some people.... DOH!!! |

Okay...
In no particular order: Danielsson - he looks like he's lightning quick on the track and comes across as quiet and likeable off the track Long - much as I feel he has a very 'American' ego which overshadows his actual talent Goransson - another quiet unassuming driver who works very hard, and suffered bad luck in FF last year. He'll win the scholarship this year Watts - can't fault him for persistence even when the chips are down. A nice guy who deserves to have his talents rewarded this year Kovalainen - I sincerely believe he's the next Kimi |

Kovalainen - great guy, good driver
Watts - ditto - just needs the opportunity Lloyd - I think he's got some real star potential - just wish he'd smile occassionally!! Legge - okay I know she's got her critics and her style can be controversial but as a girl proving she can hack it with the big boys - well done to her Carl Breeze - for winning a tough FR season last year - do wonder how he would have done this year though - certainly think people like Danny and Mark Mcloughlin have got it all to do |

Mission Impossible
1. Kovalainen
2. Watts 3. Viso 4. Long/Lloyd/Hamilton/Danielsson (4th choice split 4 ways, sorry) 5. Stoddart - she's ploughing a very lonely furrow while learning new formula in one-car team and still putting in very competitive times. Good girl. Oh I don't know! Grrr |

give me a few days to think about this, but i agree that kovalainen's a cracking driver. danny watts and a whole bunch of formula renault drivers are very good, but i've got no idea how they compare to f3 drivers, it's a very difficult thing to do...

Kovalainen-obvious choice, but in and out of the car has the x-factor.
Lloyd-(but I also wish he'd smile more!) Goransson-slowly but surely, that guy's gonna make it. Viso-don't know much about him but he's sure holding his own! Stoddart-I have to ditto Jonny Apex on that one, great person keeps her head down and just gets on with it, whatever rubbish she gets thrown at her! |

1. Heikki Kovalainen - the guy is just sooooooooo fast. Did you see his qualifier at Macau? Woah!
2. Michael Keoghane - very fast, very smooth. 3. Alex Danielsson - looked quick over the winter. 4. Robert Bell - not so great in FFord, but seems to like the wings of FRenault. One to challenge Watts this year. 5. Fabian Coulthard - 17 wins from 20 races in New Zeland FFord. If he is to emulate his second cousin (whose rubbish anyway) he must come to England this year or next. |

If you had a mega team of:
1)Kovalainen - cool, hard and fast 2)Danielsson- remember a great show against favourite Courtney in his 2000 FF festival heat 3)Hamilton - will hit the top by mid season 4)Bremmer - strong showing in bad car last year 5)Long - great attitude, work on the diplomacy! you'd be sitting fairly pretty I reckon! |
