Why ? ..... Why is there only 3 Porsche's . I would love to get my hands on the total list that asked for an entry . I find it hard to fathom that only 3 teams applied ?
I would have thought the Chinese Porsche team would have gotten in . First time national entry .

Then we would have had sweet & sour porker!
Don't worry Badger, it takes 9 Fiat's to match our 3.

Strange how the Porker entries at Sebring are multiplying while the Fiats are dwindling and at LeMans it's just the opposite!

Its the same for protos , ALMS is feeling the crisis and it appears that the European teams have lost some , but gained more !!!
Its a price thing too , Porsche is a cheaper motor and cheaper to operate . The next few years , with respect to the ALMS , is all about threading water and trying their best to survive for the future picks up again .

Nine Ferraris to three Porsches at Le Mans is a ratio I am comfortable with! It should still be a good race, there are many good teams in GT2 class this year.
Collard and Westbrook announced for Prospeed in FIA GT this year. Drivers of 2nd car TBA.

No mate. I'll be in Europe at the end of the year.
I'll leave Le Mans for 2010 (or 2011) depending on when the "rumored" LMP1 Porker hits the track.

To be honest will anyone notice what is happening in gt2 this year, with the class fields in the other classes, a few ferrari's and the odd porker will be usefull as additional hazards, but not sure how much interest there will be in that battle.

I know what you're saying, but I think that anytime you have Fiats and Porkers dueling it out, you bound to draw attention.

Oh man ..... the fight in GT2 is normally one of the highlights for me , and mostly the closest battles .
9 against 3 ..... if the Porsche's dont take each other out , I reckon they will take the crown . But its a matter of opinion I guess .

Looks like Fiat's challenge to the Lizard led Porkys in ALMS will be provided by the Risi duo of Melo and Kaffer with Salo joining them at Sebring, Le Mans and PLM.

Although im a Ferrari fan, it would be great to see some more Porsche's on the grid at LM, hopefully there will be some more Porsche team's coming in as some other teams withdraw, This year im hoping for a real tooth and nails battle to the finish between Ferrari and Porsche, not the Ferrari luck out which happened last year, seemed like a shallow victory with 2 top Porker teams being taken out of contention

If that Ford gets much quicker it will be Porsche v Ford as Ferrari will be left to battle with the panoz and BMW's..
