Things To Spice Up Cart!
1. One thing they need to do in CART is to not allow a team to run cars in differnt sponsorship livery/colours. All this does is confuse the public watching the race as to who the driver/team is. This is one rule from F1 that is worth having.
2. A point for fastest race lap.
3. How about paint the cars noses up like WW2 planes and personalise it for the driver. Here are a few examples;
Imagine a shark's mouth on the nose of De Ferran's car and the wording "Razor Sharp".
A Prancing Horse on Zanardi's car and the wording "Itallian Stallion".
Or how about a picture of the Devil on Kenny Bracks car nose with the wording "The Devils Brack"
What do you think crazy or worthwile?

I never understood the fascination with having team cars with the same livery. Too many fans would not be able to tell who it was that just went by. I have no problem with teams such as PacWest or Patrick Racing having different liveries. The racing in America is less about what team it is and more about what driver it is. the separate liveries make it much easier to keep track of a particular driver at a glance.
I think that driver helmets have been the place to customize a driver's paint and logo preferences.

Couldn't disagree more. It's in fact, like KC says, much easier to spot who the driver is when the cars have different liveries. For example to tell Kenny Brack apart from Max Papis.

I do not understand this. For me to see how this would be logical, please explain what the word "brack" means in English as it's not in my dictionary.

Ganassi, Green, and Penske are fortunate that they have sponsors willing to make a committment large enough to support both team cars. Some teams cannot even attract a sponsor for one team car. Forcing teams to run the same livery on two cars makes finding a sponsor a tougher sell than it is now. Finding new ways to drive sponsors away is not a smart business move.
However, a point for fastest lap sounds interesting.

R, Brack is not an english word it's a play on words.
The Devils Back it should say but I used Kenny's surname as it sounds similar.

Keep to 2 cars per team. I was really annoyed when Barrie Green, corrected the commentator and said he had 3 cars in the top 5 or whatever it was. I'd forgotten that Mikey was under Green as well as Dario and Mad Paul. Why can't Chip have three, well hell let's all have three per team, then we'll be back to square one. Then Barrie can buy another driver and have 4.......
Keep 2 per team as max number. Screwing around with rules like this is how a series gets recked. It makes it unfair for the other teams, even if the package is a little different. We saw this at its worst when Penske had three way back, and every podium had a Penske for a whole year.
Enough said, you get it I'm sure..

There are no rules to how many cars a team owner can enter, only as to how many franchise votes they are allowed. So adding a third car in not "screwing around" with any rules. Gerald Forsythe also runs three cars and has only been on one podium so far.

The only thing necessary to make Champ Cars "more interesting" is to put them into a proper television package and promote the good, clean, fast racing and the pilot personalities.
Changing it to WWF will only drive away the people who are there to see good, clean, fast racing and personable pilots.

IMO, the Champ Car series is the best in the world and should not be changed at all!
The only thing that needs to be done is better, as Liz said is marketing, and better coverage.

Or maybe a point for most positions gained during the race. But this might lessen the value of the pole, so it could be worth 2 points.

You put it very well. Tinkering with points, etc. offer very little to the equation. The IRL thing and NASCAR offer points for almost everything and all it does is put the drivers in undo hazard due to backmarkers moping around garnering points.
And I totally agree with the following also:
>>"IMO, the Champ Car series is the best in the world and should not be changed at all!"<<
"Brack" is not pronounced to rhyme with "back".

I agree with what Liz and several others have said. The Champ Car series is the best racing series in the world, and the rules and point system does not need to be changed at all. It's the marketing and the television situation that needs improvement.

1. change driver's names to dale and ernie
2. tv announcers screem: weeeell doggie
3. confederate flags around the track
4. change series name to: neckcar
