What a weekend that was.
Had the pleasure of doing Chief Startline.
Had the sound of cars in one ear & race control in the other.
not to sure who was making the most noise......

Had some excellent weather and some good quick reports coming thru over the radio,which helped me not getting any irate drivers with overheating cars.
They were nearly all very well behaved.
Had loads for thanks for the Marshals for all their efforts from the Drivers,so a BIG PAT on the back of all the guys & gals.

I had a great time, First time I'd been on startline and it beat the hell out of being on post for a sprint. Much better than I expected.
"Always a pleasure, never a chore" as I'm sure I heard someone say today I think.

glad you enjoyed yourself,ya done a grand job.
which allowed me to get the drivers in toe and throw donuts to the rescue crew.
on this occasion,you are allowed to feed the animals....

A quiet day on the bank, apart from a TVR spinning and coming close to righting off 80K, but he caught it and carried on.
