My understanding from speaking to the HSCC was that they would be making the selection (today), not the MSA?

Evening Ladies is right, from my understanding

the HSCC will be selecting the grid themselves from those who return their intention forms (spelt correctly, hand written by the cars owner, in their own blood, people using other peoples blood off their own hands won't be invited)

hopefully enough mere mortals have bothered to do this that they can pick a good varied grid

far be it from me to express a forthright opinion () but no more than 8 V8's, and possibly a maximum of 5 of each of the other more common European Marques, the rest in less common breeds and oddities would be a good starting point, although it largely depends whether those people with interesting/different cars have indeed replied for fear of the usual 'big meeting' grid

the kind I like Terry, sitting around in the pouring rain in a muddy field for 5 days drinking overpriced warm Australian Dingo urine in the vain hope of getting a 0.27s flash on national TV I take it you havn't put MAgnette badges on your car and sent in the form?

fortunately we're off to France the following weekend to recover with a few days off betwixt

Given the English prefer beer resembling muddy warm water I wouldn't have thought it really mattered!

Good to see we've got down the spirit of the club, or is it beer? It's going to be a fantastic couple of days, few beers, pretty girls, some car racing, perfect! And with our improved driving standards, should be fun for all! Can't wait, just keeping my fingers crossed for a reliable car for the weekend.
