It was a similar series known as the Barber Dodge Pro Series. Both series were run via Skip Barber. The Barber Dodge Pro cars which Joe raced were more powerful than the current Skip Barber Formula 2000 cars.

Sean Rayhall became the youngest ever winner of a Skip Barber National event over the weekend at NJMP in Race #1. Rayhall turned 13 in March of this year.

Daly took the win in Race #2, extending his points lead.

Conor Daly won the 2008 Skip Barber National Championship over the weekend. Fellow Team USA scholarship winner Josef Newgarden took the second spot. Felipe Polehtto claimed the third spot in the overall championship.

According to the Skip Barber website: A full season costs less than $50,000. USD

This price doesn't include (racing schools, lapping days or crash damage). In order to be competitive, their number is basically meaningless. But with a $350,000 scholarship available, the accurate price doesn't look too bad.
