Champ Cars Noticed Something Missing At Last?

* CART.com, the Official Web Site of the FedEx Championship Series, will debut a new feature on the site following this weekend's Tenneco Automotive Grand Prix of Detroit. CART ChampCam gives fans a "backstage pass" to the race winner's victory celebration, with video of the race-winning driver from the time he gets out of his car through the first few minutes of the post-race press conference. Fans will see the driver celebrate his win with his teammates, watch the driver participate in the victory podium ceremonies, and follow him in to meet the press following the race. CART ChampCam will be available beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET this Sunday at www.cart.com .

=============

So now we know that they have heard us complaining that when the flag falls, the coverage ceases? At least people with DSL connections to the Internet will be able to watch the rest of the experience!

I wonder if Bernie knows about this? I mean how dare a racing series offer the fans what they actually want?

I'm going to have to watch the next three races tape delayed (by about three weeks), as I'm heading off on holiday to a land where they know nothing of Eurosport or the Internet - my parents' place in Britain. Thank goodness for friends with video recorders!

Are things finally starting to improve!? Hope to see good coverage on Eurosport too this weekend... I have 256 Kbit/sec connection so it is quite there to see the live coverage... Next year there will be a new TV deal too, so lets hope it will be a good one and most important for me is that I hope Eurosport will continue to show CART live. Ok that's it good rest to you Laagri and Saturday is over BIG day - CART cars again on street course

It's about time CART did something like this.
They better start cleaning up their act with all the bullS##t tv coverage or they are gonna go extinct.
I remember when CART was a big thing 5 years ago before all this **** happened. Let's hope they can go back to that level.
Or else what am I gonna watch on the weekends that f1 is off? the IRL?hahahaha
