GT2 is gonna be retarded good in the future. Factory backed cars from Corvette, Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, and now Lambo! And I wouldn't be suprised to see a few more come in.

Is it confirmed that this project is properly supported by Lamborghini? Without it the project seems doomed against Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, Aston Martin and Corvette.

It was stated by Lambo's CEO that they would be announcing a factory backed racing effort in the near future and we're all assuming this is it.
I hope it is because the new GT class is looking to have so much potential!

Would be pretty stupid if there will be 2 Gallardo's in development for GT2, so I geuss this will be it with hopefully at last some proper factory support. Hope it will be based on the LP560

The dsc story - presume that's where you got it from - doesn't mention Reiter sticking to LMS - In fact it says Reiter won't enter the car at all - Customers only

they have many cutomers now with their Gallardo GT3, in FIA, BGT and the ADAC series, I really hope that few of them will climb to GT2 and enter both European series

At the last round of DTM a Lamborghini Cup is presented. Anyone more info? Is this a German or an international series?

Sounds like a similar format to the Fords Miller Mustangs. Have their own racing events for marketing and promotion. and A Mustang Wins.
