I'd love to help you, Alex, but I don't really know much more than I've said so far and that's how it's likely to be this year as I shall not be going to many of the race meetings.

That said, I don't think there is as much news as usual at this time of year. A sign of the times, I guess.

Thats a pity Strider. Your information over the years has been invaluble. Good luck with whatever you get up to.

Thanks brakedisc, I appreciate your kind comment. Quite a lot of information still comes my way and I will share it where possible.

He's not one of the two I was expecting to see T-Sport announce.

If you believe the rumours, T-Sport could be in a very good position for this year.

They'll have at least a couple of cars out. I think one, Carlos Huertas (sp?) has already been announced. The other is Japanese.

T-Sport should have another International Class driver (and Volkswagen engines, of course) and possibly a National Class car as well.

I wouldn't be surprised to see another new team join in, although there's a question mark over Cesario now.

Interest in the National Class has perked up recently, now that F2 is full and drivers are beginning to accept that this year getting the money together for an International Class drive will be very much harder than ever.

Less than 3 weeks before the first test...

Ozzie F3 would be another option with the oz dollar also low and the success of Brit drivers in the last couple of years. Looks like last years winner, James Wnslow may be driving V8 supercars this year. Strong championship and for less than national class money and running as main class.
