only a select few have been very successful in their VERY first CUP races...but YES, he has struggled more than expected.
he'll improve greatly by year's end.
MM w/ the Pole!

Logano said the COT is completely different to anything he has driven before and has changed a lot in its development. He'll get up to speed, just takes time.
Anyway - AJ qualifies, awesome. Shame Mayfield didn't.

all "CUP" cars are different from most cars rookies have ever driven, but the COT still has four tires and a steering wheel.
i do agree with the kid being fast at some point.
after the truck series finish today, i am looking forward to tomorrow's race!

Having wheels and tyres doesn't mean your skills transfer over, otherwise Mike Hakkinen would dominate DTM and Michael Schumacher could go dirt track racing. But it doesn't work like that.
Logano needs time to adapt to the car. Dario and AJ Allmendinger did too. Dario started to get there, then went back to IRL. AJ is really getting the hang of it too. Logano will get there.

Big brother Busch dominates.
Ambrose's crew man screws race up for most people.
Will Montoya ever get the hang of NASCAR,doubt it.
We are now halfway.
