If I remember rightly from last year there is a restriction on engine size which stops some of those cars entering. Last year there was a v10 Viper running with 2 cylinders blanked off to get under the limit!

Nissan is one of the major sponsors for the broadcast this year, this probably is part of the deal.

At least they had no ambitions on their team profile on the site or else it would be even stranger. Hopefully, he'll only race 1 stint (pit to pit) for the rest of the race, at the most, so they can still finish in the top 10. They're back in the top 10 now, behind the 98 Audi.

Not really sure if they had any problems but when you look at their class, the 2 Aston Martins ahead of them are 46 and 50. Of course you'd expect those 2 to put their car higher up so maybe something happened?

They disappeared a few hours back. I was also trying to figure out what happened as it was in 2nd at the time.

The ticker on the website says:

technischer Defekt in der Hatzenbach

or

technical defect in the Hatzenbach

And that was 3 hours ago. No news since. Could be their race is over.

That was true last year. This year, with the classes for FIA GT3 and GT4 cars, they could run.

Oh, the 77 BMW Z4 has dropped down on the timing!

As for the Priaulx/Muller 60 BMW, Graham spoke to Dirk a while back on RLM and they had an accident at the beginning of the race and a drive shaft problem, if my memory works!
