CSCC Anglesey
First post here - hello!
Making my CSCC debut in the Future Classics at Anglesey next weekend. Having spent 2 seasons Caterham racing with SEMSEC I've now got my Dino 308GT4 almost race ready. I suspect a lot of the FC grid will be rather quicker but I'll be having fun , I hope!
Anyone here heading to North Wales?

Welcome David,
I've never been to Angelsey but I'm told it's a great circuit.

Anglesey is a great circuit, one of my favourites, and I am disappointed that the CSCC "Tin Tops" series isn't getting to race there. I hope that the 308 goes well. A fibreglass 308 GTB entered the FC race at Snetterton so maybe he will be out to play with in the same class.

Yep, will be there too in the S/S, sadly not quite the grid we had at Snetterton but hey ho. The Anglesey circuit is great fun with something for everyone.
Do come and say hello

Hi David & All,
I am also a first time poster and heading to Anglesey to debut with my son in his Escort Mexico in the Swinging Sixties (no 41).
I've heard great things about the new circuit and the weather looks promising, so should be a great weekend.
Look forward to meeting you all.

Welcome to the forum Cliff and I hope you have a great time. Escort Mexico? Interesting choice.

Its not great Peter its stunning . I ran there last year with the Jag but this year i'm taking the MGB to run in the Equipe race . Weather forcast even looks good .On a clear day as you come to the top of the corkscrew you just have to slow down to admire the view.

On a nice day you can see the Snowdonia mountains in the background or well out to the Irish Sea and the Welsh coast.
However, being coastal and right on the edge of the Irish sea means the weather can change very quickly!

Looking forward to meeting you all - circuit sounds great. I'm planning to get there Sat. p.m. and unload. Is there a nearby meeting place/watering hole? Last time I raced there (admittedly a few years back) getting fed in the evening wasn't the easiest...

The Mexico is as near to standard as possible, as we want to get FIA HTP and the main reason for choosing a Mexico was to hopefully provide a reliable car for my son Daniel to learn racecraft, so we won't be the quickest car out there, but will be having great fun.
Sorry about stealing your number, I really wanted 44, as that's been my race no for years in my XJS and A35, but you can't have everything.
