Fantasy F1 2009 - China
Well an interesting round with scores ranging from all over. The winners are "Brains and Brawn" GP with a fantastic score of 41 points. They are also the new championship leaders crossing 90 points after 3 rounds. Congrats to them.
Some other good scores as well. I will try to post an updated version of my Drivers and Team table sometime today or tomorrow. Right now you lot should be pleased that I decided to forgo the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half of the FA cup semi to post these results.

30 points. I knew my faith in Heikki would pay off...now I just need Piquet to sort it out...

Yeah Piquet is my ruin too. And BMW are particularly dismal also. So it's just left for Button to drag my into the midfield!

Thanks for the quick update.
Though I'm still a bit confused why you havn't bothered to fix the issues brought up weeks ago. Eg
1) Brains and Brawn Racing consisting of both BGP and Jenson Button (illegal team no?)
2) Saru Racing Team total cost value = 110
3) Robbes team missing
4) Last round my team only getting 24points when it should have gotten 27
(which suggests you have calculation errors in your spreadsheet).

1. They fixed their entry and it is valid. RBR and Button is not the same team
2. No-one brought this up.
3. I forgot and he didn't remind me.
4. I thought we agreed that you messed up your calculations and judging by the values you have you did, For eg you classified Kubica and Vettel as finishers as per the f1.com website for the Australian GP even though they didn't

and apparently they don't write retired for all DNFs. So I need to manually makr the DNFs that are still classifed as "finished in position" (which I didnt pay attention to since it didnt affect "my" team).

I'm sorry if I can't pick up on every small mistake with entries and scoring but there is only so much combing over I can do. If you see something someone needs to tell me and I usually do this at the end of the race weekend so even if you tell me something at the start of the week I am more than likely to forget. PMs reminders are the best. Robbe your entry has been added to the spreadsheet now. Your total is 1 point after 3 rounds which will be indicated after the next round.
Cheers
RF

Bernie just phoned me and my team has been hit with a colossal fine for missing the first two races.
I will endeavour to finish the season, but I've already blown my entire budget on the car and drivers, so I don't know whether I'll be able to afford it.

Team owner actually did it himself in the team thread and I mentioned it as well.

Same as above. Remember to check your own threads

Yes, but as I wrote, those mistakes did not affect my teams scoring at all and I presented my manual calculations for how I got 27 points as well.
Anyway, again
Sutil (3 + 2) = 5
Bourdais (3 + 5) = 8
BGP (8 + 4 + 1 + 1) = 14
Total 27

I understand. Though the lists I presented last were all corrected for that initial mistake, and they still differ quite much from your numbers. Was offering them to help you out with something to check against once you corrected the mistake that gave me 24 instead of 27 points. Of course if our points still dont match up after you fix that error one or both of us still have bugs :P

You mean it's generally unappreciated that I try to help out by finding errors?
Ill shut up from now on then.

No of course not. I'm sorry if you took my comment to mean that you weren't appreciated, but that's definitely not what I meant. I just perceived (wrongly it seems) that by making a comment such as "remember to check your own threads" and by continuing to object to RF's scoring that you were perhaps taking this game a little too seriously.
Sorry again if I got the wrong end of the stick there

I have Red Bull, Glock and Nakajima so how does that make 11 points?
Red Bull 1st and Pole so 8+1 = 9 (Is second another 6 points?)
Glock in the points 5 and 7 places forward = 12 points
Nakajima finishes 18 so 3 places back and a DNF -6?
Now surely that makes 15, not 11
And do I get anything for Red Bulls second?

AFAICT you should get 15 for RBR, 17 for Glock (you forgot his 5 places drop, rules say grid position not quali result) and Nakajima -4 (due to glocks grid drop and DNF for driver = 0). So total of 28 according to my spreadsheet. But let the King verify that before you open the champaign to celebrate PS Though I do have your team pegged down for Ferrari, not RBR, as the team. So that total would be 12 in total this round.

This is becoming more like the real F1 with every post.
I wish to protest the diffuser designs of Brains and Brawn Racing, Rocket Power, Fyffes GP, Edwardes Racing, Team Catunda and Banjo Boy racing.

Your protest application has been received. Unfortunately you have failed to offer any "sweetners" so your protest has been thrown out.
