Baguette certainly seems to like his home track, doesn't he. Zaugg continues to impress me this season as well given that he did no pre-season testing and the car has evolved a lot since he drove for Carlin back in 2006. Hegewald has put in a decent debut performance so far also.
I do feel for Prema a little this season. Last year they had two proven race winners in Alvaro Barba and Miguel Molina, whereas this year they have two rookies who seem to be struggling to come to terms with the car. I was hoping that Edoardo Piscopo would get one of the seats, but money talks I suppose.

Two years ago Prema ran Ben Hanley to second in the championship behind Alvaro Parente, yet he now has no budget. Money does indeed talk!

They will probably have an equally bad time in F3 ES as well. But why should one feel for them, afterall they chose their drivers and in the case of Leal pretty early in the day. The thing is, I get the impression that some teams are doing their last year in the series, getting as much as they can and not caring about their track record.

Baguette on pole as expected, but closely matched by Walker and even Move in the other P1 is very competitive! I expected Pic and Molina to be the favourites, but if Walker can be this fast at Spa, he should be able to do it on the other tracks too.

James Walker takes the win from Baguette and Molina, in the Superpole race.
Baguette leading, left his pit stop late and came out behind Walker who pulled away for an excellent first victory in F3.5
Turvey had a great charge late on to pass Alguersuari, and then Martinez for 5th on the final corner.

It isn't Walker's first victory in WSR. But good on him, he's had a fairly bad start to the season with 2 DNF's despite all his testing pace. He needs to do it more consistently from now on, and he has the speed and the team to do it.

Sod it, forgot this was on, got all carried away with all things nice and noisy and shiny at Silverstone!!
How did Hegewald get on, as he was doing a one off and by looks of it did pretty well in practice?
Anyone able to post some results from the 2 races please?

Another solid run from Sten Pentus who went from 20th to 11th in Race 4. Bertrand Baguette also put in two impressive drives this weekend, especially in Race 3 when he went from 8th on the grid to finish 2nd.

A lot of Hartleys problems probably stem from the fact he was thrown in the car at the last minute without any WSR 3.5 experience. Still he's performing below the expectations that I had for him.
