Good, I am glad to hear that - I like Ho-Pin a lot, I thought he drove well last season under tricky conditions (they got the car late and had minimal testing).

team china is going deeper. last year was disaster. the rookie guy is a slow motion robot. pin tung was flushing all the time and astromega is the apocalipse. MR LIU need to kill a chicken and get new ppl on board.
i dont think a1gp go to china any more. envision the following. chengdu was fancy and rusty. zhuhai cant attract any more international races. And shanghai is detract. beijing street circuit fell apart cause the crisis. refrain. chian can say goodbye to a1gp.

Lam Pak - I will continue your comment in the calender thread, since this is supposed to be the entry list thread.

"We're talking to drivers and the full composition of the squad will be confirmed in due course but I don't think we'll have many changes," he said.

Doesn't sound like a man who's team is pulling out. I'd believe an article with quotes from the team's seat holder over a generic copycat "A1GP is dying" one.

Talking about drivers for Team Aus, i'd expect John Martin to be main driver, but who will be the rookie driver? Any chance of Nathan Antunes return?

"A1 officials have reassured the seat holders of all the nations competing in the series that the necessary finance and infrastructure is in place and we're proceeding based on that."
Perhaps A1 officials should also put out a press release to this effect then.
The positive article you have posted is a day after the negative RTE one, perhaps RTE could have done their homework better but perhaps the reassurance has come from A1GP in the last 24 hours, who knows.

Let's hope it is a new assurance, not one from months/weeks ago that may not still apply!

Status Grand Prix (aka A1 Team Ireland) confirmed for GP3. I suspect it's just part of the team's plans for expansion, but no doubt it will fuel some more negative speculation...

It should not result in negative speculation. Mark Gallagher said last year that he wanted to expand the team's portfolio. GP3 is a good fit with A1GP anyway. A1GP Autumn/ winter/ Spring - GP3 early Summer and summer. Should allow them to keep the team together.

I fail to see the point in speculating about an entry list when the cars are still impounded by the administrators.
Without cars you do not have a race car series.
