I'll be there. Should be fun.
And yes it can be colder/wetter than Wakefield. Were you on the island for the 25/26th April meeting?

Well it's official Leanne Tander is back in F3 and the Mosler's are out of GT, for good it would appear.
For Melbourne people, Nick O'Hallaran & Tim Macrow will be guests on In Pit Lane tomorrow night to preview the event.
BTW it gets way colder at Wakefield (minus 4 one year I was there early) but nothing like the wind and rain at the Island.
The State round was awful, picked up a 17 kg camera and tripod and blew it away like a used tissue, ripped right out of my hand. Yikes!
(Also tomorrow on In Pit Lane we've got the launch of the DTM -over 200'000 people- and Pole Day at Indy, plus Lap Sprints at Sandown including the race debut of Madison Gray, Lauren's 15 year old sister and the name Brabham returns to local motorsport)

If the door handle to door handle and passing move after passing move racing is any thing like what was witnessed at the first round of Commodore Cup at Wakefield, it will be worth the drive to watch, it was some of the best & cleanest racing i have see for years, cant wait.

And hoping for a similar result Dasher?
Brett - the wind was pretty diabolical at Wakefield the other week, was difficult to stand in let alone try and point a camera! See you down there

"Tickets for the big weekend of racing are just $20 on Saturday and $25 on Sunday, while a weekend pass is available for $30 and kids under 16 are free."
